New Settlement, as the name suggest, is a new start. This project, The Band of Peace, has been active for close to 10 years now, and the last 2 were a drought, creatively speaking. But now, inspiration is back. It's a new method, and new tools. New surroundings have relit the fire. I have almost totally gave up the idea of performing this type of music live, and once I did so, it freed up the canvas . Limitless possibilities. The first era of the project was distinctly marked by use of bass, guitar & synths with amplification and effects. This new era, or new dawn, as more to do with sound manipulation, granular sounds and sampling. This batch of songs is this new step. More will come.
